GREENSTEAD FUN DAY 17/08/08

At this year’s Greenstead Fun Day on Saturday 19^th July we had our first ever stall.

Along with my colleagues Cllrs. Jon Manning and Mark Cory we had a fun stall which had a ‘ping pong’ game with a prize every time and a prize raffle draw.

The raffle prize-winners were:

1^st prize Micro CD System - Ciara McClean

2^nd prize £15 Tesco voucher - Richard Marshall

3^rd prize £5 Tesco voucher - Jenny Morris

4^th prize T-Shirt - Sarah Murrells

Our stall took £30 during the afternoon and we donated all of this to the Greenstead Community Centre.

Freshers' Fair

Saturday 6^th October 2007

I went along to this years Freshers’ Fair at the University of Essex. The Lib Dem Students Society put together an excellent stall, which was busy all day. It was a pleasure to meet and chat to many of you.

The Lib Dem Society on campus is very active and puts on a lot of functions so please go along and get involved.

I would like to offer a warm welcome to all the students taking up residency within St. Andrew’s ward. I hope your stay with us is a safe and happy one and one that sees you fulfil your ambitions. I wish you all well.
