About Us

LOCAL MAN COMES ON BOARD!

MARK WARNER YOUR LOCAL LIB DEM CONTACT

Hello, my name is Mark Warner and I am your St. Andrew’s ward Liberal Democrat representative.

I have lived on Greenstead since 1977 (that’s longer that your 3 current Labour councillors have combined together!) and I have worked within various parts of the ward on a daily basis as a postman for over 15 years.

I feel that I am your truly local voice, able to see at first hands the issues that affect us all within St. Andrew’s.

I have a lot invested in Greenstead as I have 3 generations of my family living here.

It is the only home my children have ever known!

This is why I want to be involved with the area. I want to give something back to the community that has served me so well for so long.

I am a  Parent Governor at Sir Charles Lucas Arts College and a former trustee on the Greenstead Community Association, which runs the Community Centre.

I have the support of a large number of Liberal Democrat borough councillors who sit on Colchester Borough Council and of course I have good access to Bob Russell MP who is always willing to help, listen and offer good advice.

My philosophy is that people come first and that is why I will always work hard to ensure that St. Andrew’s is a safe, clean and happy place to live, work and attend school in.
